The hamlet of Channat has kept its traditionnal charm. There is a village wash-house where villagers used to wash clothes, a water trough still used to water animals, and a little school, now disused. Time is measured by sheep and cows going through the village with their shepherd, and sometimes, eggs and milk are available at the farm.
